Jai in sign language
Premonition Heart
sang hOOn jai (v.) สังหรณ์ใจ

When someone has a sixth sense or an intuitive feeling about someone or something then they sang hOOn jai and the subject matter is usually dark or bad. You go into a business meeting with a premonition that the deal will fall through, or you are driving home and have a feeling your spouse is in a bad mood or your soi has flooded with the afternoon rains. It matters less whether these things happened or not, it is the feeling about what will or will not happen in the future that makes you sang hOOn jai. This is a good quality in a private eye or other investigator but not in ordinary people, as the preoccupation is on the negative, bad, evil side of life.
